Thief on the cross : Jesus Christ Saved Him

Jesus Christ was mocked by many around him a long time ago when he died on the cross of Calvary.

Two thieves were crucified next to him.

At first they both mocked him along with the others.

But after awhile one thief quit mocking him.

One thief rebuked the other thief.

One thief trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal LORD and Savior.

This one thief even called Jesus Christ, "Lord".

Luke 23:39-43 "And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the full due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him,Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."

The thief on the cross did not have time to be baptized, or do any good deeds/works that day.

Jesus Christ promised him-this one thief- "paradise" (Heaven) that very day.

Jesus Christ saved the thief on the cross because the thief accepted Jesus Christ as his personal LORD and Savior!

Just like he saved the thief on the cross, he wants to save you too.

You have to let him.

No amount of popularity, nice looks, good grades, good health, riches, or good works/deeds,or even baptism can save you.

Only accepting Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior will give you the assurance of Heaven as your home someday.

Some accept Jesus Christ today! Accept him this very second in time!
